Black Obsidian is like an energetic black hole. It is a naturally occurring volcanic glass which has a high energy absorption capacity. It can hold a lot of negative/detrimental energy and can be instructed as a diversion target so that any detrimental energy in your space can be contained within the black obsidian rather than affecting your body and being.

Black obsidian is very useful to energetically protect a space, such as your bedroom, living room, office, clinic treatment room or workspace. You can place up to one black obsidian per room to provide comprehensive energetic protection in your home or office.
It can also be used as a diversion target instead of your body by programming the crystal. An example of crystal programming is listed in the long description.
Make sure you clear your black obsidian every 1-3 weeks, as once the detrimental energy builds up to a certain point, it no longer will have any effective remaining absorption capacity. The energy clearing spray can be used on the black obsidian but due to its large energy absorption capacity it is recommended that the crystal is cleared in running water, salt water or a vodka bath to ensure the crystal is thoroughly cleared.
